Beginning therapy can feel daunting, but I believe it is a deeply rewarding and fulfilling journey that can lead to meaningful change in all areas of your life. This is best accomplished in a safe, nonjudgmental space where you are able to be honest, open, and vulnerable, both with yourself and with your therapist. My hope is to provide you with that space where you can share your story and freely explore all parts of yourself, and to build with you a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship.
As a trained Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that strong and deeply connected relationships are vital to our well-being and success. This begins with our relationship to ourselves, and continues with forming meaningful relationships with others that allow us to be the best versions of ourselves. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families engage in this work, and am dedicated to being actively engaged and present as we navigate both the challenges and the triumphs together.
My therapeutic orientation combines psychodynamic, humanistic, and emotion-focused modalities, while also utilizing behavioral based techniques such as CBT and DBT. I work collaboratively with individuals and couples to identify your specific needs, define and set treatment goals, and tailor a unique treatment plan that will best lead you towards positive and meaningful change.
