Group Therapy

Connecting With Others, New Perspectives

Managing your mental health can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to face it alone.

Our group therapy sessions create a safe and welcoming space where participants can share their experiences, gain insights, and grow together.

  • Foster Connection: Build meaningful relationships with others who understand and share similar experiences, reducing feelings of isolation.
  • Gain New Perspectives: Learn from the diverse insights and coping strategies of group members, expanding your understanding of different approaches to personal growth.
  • Enhance Communication Skills: Practice expressing yourself openly and listening actively in a supportive environment, which can improve relationships in all areas of life.

Group therapy provides a unique opportunity to connect with others while working toward your goals in a collaborative and empathetic setting. Whether you’re facing life transitions, managing stress, or seeking personal growth, our sessions offer a space to heal and thrive.

What Happens in a Session

During group therapy sessions at Allied Psychotherapy Group, we create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In this collaborative environment, you’ll have the opportunity to share your challenges and triumphs with others who can relate, fostering a sense of understanding and validation.

Together, as a group, we’ll work to uncover and address the underlying emotions, beliefs, and patterns that may be contributing to your difficulties. You’ll gain valuable insights from the group dynamic, discover new perspectives, and learn effective strategies to navigate life’s challenges.

Clear Your Mind and Transform Your Life

Whether it’s trauma-based or genetic, at Allied Psychotherapy Group, we understand your OCD functions to protect you. It is our goal to help you understand your OCD tendencies, challenge automatic behaviors, and develop effective plans to  help you work in harmony with your OCD. Together, we can help you break out of negative patterns and take back your life.

We work with individuals experiencing mild to moderate OCD symptoms whose obsessive thoughts or compulsive behaviors does not significantly interfere with daily life.

 Our patients typically experience:

  • Intrusive thoughts: Repetitive, unwanted, and often disturbing thoughts.
  • Compulsive behaviors: Repetitive behaviors or mental acts performed to reduce anxiety.
  • Overthinking: Excessive worry and analysis.
